This policy explains what information sxcode collects when you use our website and create an account, and how we handle it. The sxcode desktop application runs on your own computer. Your code, files, terminals, and API keys stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to give you an account:
- Your email address.
- Your chosen username.
- Your password, which is stored securely as a salted hash by our authentication provider. We never see your actual password.
We do not collect your projects, source code, terminal activity, or the API keys you use with coding agents. Those never leave your machine.
How we use your information
We use your account information to:
- Create and secure your account.
- Sign you in across your devices.
- Send you account emails, such as confirming your address and resetting your password.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies
The website uses a single sign in cookie so you stay logged in. We do not use advertising or third party tracking cookies.
Keeping your information
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove the information tied to it.
Your choices
You can view or update your account details from your profile. You can also ask us to delete your account and its information by contacting us.
Children
sxcode is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
