These terms apply when you use sxcode, including this website, your account, and the desktop application. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

What sxcode is

sxcode is a desktop application that lets you run coding agents and terminals side by side on a single canvas. The application runs locally on your computer. This website provides information and the account system.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password safe. Please give accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Acceptable use

When using sxcode, you agree not to:

  • Break the law or use the service to harm others.
  • Attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Misuse the website or the account system.

Your machine and your content

The desktop application runs on your own computer. You keep full ownership of your code, files, and data. You are responsible for what you choose to run with sxcode and for any commands your agents carry out.

Coding agents and your own keys

sxcode launches separate agent tools that you install yourself, such as Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini. Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms, and you bring your own accounts and API keys for them.

Availability and warranty

We work to keep sxcode running well, but the service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We cannot promise that it will always be available or completely free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, sxcode is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Changes and ending access

We may update the app, the website, or these terms over time. If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
